Local Sites and Things to Do:

Many historic and beautiful Umbrian and Tuscan towns are located nearby, including Assisi, Perugia, Urbino, Arezzo and Florence. We are just a short drive from the picturesque towns of Sansepolcro (birthplace of Piero della Francesca), Anghiari, Citta’ di Castello and our own little town of San Giustino. The local towns provide great art museums, culture, ancient Roman ruins and amphitheatres, fine and casual Italian dining, local crafts, and of course plenty of Espresso, Cappuccino and gelato.

Spring provides the local arts and crafts fair in Anghiari, the first weekend of every month is the internationally known antique fair in Arezzo and during the fall every weekend is a local food fair offering the finest in truffles, porcini mushrooms, cheeses and other local offerings. Continuing through the year there are many music and other food festivals and cultural events such as Umbria Jazz and the Eurochocolate Festival in Perugia.

Yoga Borgo is a hiker’s and naturalist’s paradise with endless ancient wood-cutter trails offering spectacular vistas, waterfalls, historic ruins, and abundant local flora and fauna. Hike to the top of the local mountain for never ending views of Umbria, Tuscany and Le Marche or explore ancient ruins lost in the forest…a world of discovery awaits.
